My Holy Week

My Holy Week is a children's book by Merna and Fr Isaac Wissa that takes young readers through the most sacred week of the Christian year, for families, Sunday schools and church libraries.

Beginning with the final days of Lent and moving through Lazarus Saturday, Palm Sunday, the solemn prayers of Holy Week and the Cross, and ending with the joy of the Resurrection, the book explains the meaning of each day in a way children can understand and remember.

Written in simple poetic language, it connects the Church's services, the Gospel events and the spiritual lessons children meet during Holy Week. It helps them see why we pray, why we fast, and why the Resurrection fills the Church with joy, so they can enter the spirit of Pascha and grow in their love for Christ.
