At His Feet in Confession - Discovering a New way of Loving God

At His Feet in Confession - Discovering a New way of Loving God by Marc Bastawrous is a gentle guide to repentance and confession, for anyone who finds the first step hard or the journey confusing.

The first step in the journey of repentance is often the hardest to take, and the journey itself can be confusing, burdensome and even painful. With it come many questions: "Does God hear my repentance? Am I doing it right? How do I confess properly?"

This book sheds light on some of the answers. Through stories, illustrations and the words of spiritual giants, it guides the reader to the feet of Christ in confession.

The second part of the book is a hidden gem of Orthodoxy: St Ephraim the Syrian's homily on the sinful woman, "For She Loved Much". It is a beautiful retelling of her story, tracing the path she would have walked on her way to the feet of Christ.
