Filled with the Holy Spirit

Filled with the Holy Spirit by Fr Kyrillos Farag draws on the teaching of St Macarius the Great to help readers invite the Holy Spirit into their daily lives, for anyone longing to take the first steps of repentance.

In a world where God can seem distant and spiritual growth slow, this book calls for a deep awakening. Every sin and misstep becomes a chance to invite the Holy Spirit in, and to let Him lead you on the path of repentance and growth.

In each chapter, Fr Kyrillos draws on the teachings of St Macarius, inviting you into a deeper, closer relationship with God and assuring you of the Holy Spirit's help in the struggle against bodily temptations and spiritual failings. As St Macarius says, "These things are obtained gradually, and they require time, effort, patience, and much love and longing for the Lord."

Let the Holy Spirit guide your prayers, fasting and vigils, and lead you to taste the sweetness of repentance.
