God Became Man

God Became Man is a book by Bishop Poemen on the mystery of the Incarnation, for every Christian who wants to understand the great love God showed by becoming man.

God's delight is in mankind. His love for humanity is beyond imagining, and the Incarnation of God's Son, becoming human, is the greatest proof of His love for us and the strongest evidence of His care for mankind, created in God's image.

If the Cross revealed to us the great love that fills the heart of Jesus Christ, then the mystery of the Incarnation proclaims the wonderful love that fills the heart of our heavenly Father, who accepted that His Son be incarnate from the womb of a virgin named Mary.
