Saint Cyril of Alexandria

Saint Cyril of Alexandria is a free eBook by Rodolph Yanney introducing the life, times and teaching of St Cyril, for every reader who wants to know this great Church Father.

St Cyril of Alexandria, the twenty-fourth Patriarch of the See of St Mark, is considered one of the greatest bishops of Christian antiquity. Little is known about his early life, except that he spent five years as a monk in Nitria, the first monastic centre in the western desert of Egypt.

This eBook gives an overview of the life and times of the great saint, and a glimpse of his writings and his Christology, which remains central to the Christian understanding of the nature of Christ today.
