The Life of St Severus Patriarch of Antioch is a free eBook from our All-Time Heroes series on the great 6th-century hero of faith, written by St Athanasius of Antioch.

St Severus is well known for defending the position of the non-Chalcedonian churches, which explains the polemical tone of his biography.

He was greatly misunderstood for centuries, yet today his writings are seen as a link in the dialogue between the Chalcedonian and non-Chalcedonian Churches.

The All-Time Heroes from All Times series presents the lives of saints and heroes of faith from the time of Jesus until today.

Best popular biography of St. Severus available in the market. Nowhere else you are going to find the details and the extension of this one in a layman comprehensible style. Greatly appreciated and recommended.
