The Feast of St Shenouda the Archimandrite

The Feast of St Shenouda the Archimandrite is a free eBook, published for his annual feast, on the life and legacy of one of the great figures of Coptic Orthodox monasticism and a defender of the faith.

It explores the saint's early life, his ascetic calling and his key role in shaping communal monastic life in Egypt. Through vivid stories, miracles and spiritual reflections, readers meet a man who was not only an abbot and teacher but also a prophet, intercessor and guardian of Orthodox teaching.

The book includes excerpts from his prayers and sayings, and the doxology written in his honour, offering a window into the inner life of one wholly devoted to Christ.

Both a historical tribute and a spiritual guide, it suits personal devotion or church study, and offers timeless wisdom on repentance, humility and the life-changing love of God.
